Go Edgewater is back for the 3rd year. The Edgewater Historical Society is supporting the program of the Edgewater Environmental Sustainability Project to encourage residents to explore the community by walking, by bike or by public transportation. We will be having nature tours, historical tours, environmental tour, theater and art tours, bike repair clinics and much more.
Green Walking Tour of Edgewater: Tues. June 6th, 6:00 p.m. Meet at Loyola's IES Building (6349 N. Kenmore).
Tour energy efficient buildings in the vicinity – buildings incorporating renewable energy and urban agriculture.
Historic and Newer Buildings: Tues. June 13th, 6:00 p.m. Meet at the Thorndale "L" stop.
Explore the contrast of Edgewater's historic buildings with newer buildings reflecting changing economic times.
